Does Apprentice join as another participant?+
Apprentice captures microphone and meeting audio on your Mac, so it doesn’t need a meeting bot to join the call. You control when transcription starts and stops.
What informs a meeting brief?+
The calendar invite, who arranged it, the reason for meeting, and relevant history with the people involved. For an unfamiliar company, Apprentice can look up background before the meeting. If there’s nothing useful to brief, it keeps the reminder simple.
What gets saved, and where?+
The transcript and meeting notes are saved on your Mac. Relevant information can carry into memory about people, projects and commitments. Transcription and AI assistance use external providers.
How do follow-ups and app updates work?+
Apprentice can surface an agreed follow-up for you to schedule. You can also ask it to update connected apps, create tasks or prepare a draft using the meeting’s context. Available actions depend on your connections and permissions.
Can I use it for an in-person meeting?+
Apprentice also supports capturing conversations through your Mac’s microphone.
