By downloading or using Apprentice, you agree to these terms. They are written plainly on purpose.
Apprentice is in beta. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may have bugs, change, or break. Free during beta. We may introduce paid plans later, and we will tell you before anything you use starts costing money.
You need an Apprentice account to use the app. Use an email address you control, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. During the beta, accounts are by invitation. We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Apprentice can see your screen and act on your Mac when you ask it to, within the permissions you grant in macOS. You are responsible for what you ask it to do. Review any action before something irreversible, such as deleting files or sending messages. We are not liable for actions you direct it to take.
The app updates itself to the latest version so you always have current fixes and features. By using it you consent to receiving those updates.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apprentice and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
